Reliable repairs for wind turbines

Wind turbines are built to withstand extreme conditions, but damage is sometimes unavoidable. Defects can occur during transport, installation, or prolonged exposure to the elements, compromising the turbine's safety and operation.

Redak specializes in inspecting and repairing this type of damage. Whether it concerns structural damage to the tower, composite problems with the nacelle, or the careful installation of aviation lighting: we ensure that every turbine meets all safety requirements and continues to perform optimally.

Tower repair

Tower components often become damaged during transport, storage, or assembly. Think of dents, cracks, rust formation, or coating damage. Redak performs visual inspections, NDT tests, and coating analyses to detect damage early. We repair surfaces, remove rust, and apply new protective layers. This prevents structural weakening and extends the turbine's service life.

Gondola repair

The nacelle and hub are made of fragile composite materials such as fiberglass. Impact or transport damage can lead to delamination, cracking, and even water infiltration. Redak repairs this damage using techniques such as tap testing, ultrasonic inspection, and gelcoat analysis. We perform gelcoat repairs, structural reinforcements, and surface finishing to ensure optimal protection of the turbine.

Aviation lighting

Aviation lighting is only installed on-site and requires specialized work. Often, the mounting holes still need to be drilled without weakening the tower structure. Redak installs this lighting both on the ground and at height, using rope access techniques. We ensure safe drilling, proper cable routing, and an installation that fully complies with aviation regulations.
